Short abstract from the book:Waxwing is a common but irregular visitor in the Faroes, primarily seen in connection with irruptions. No waxwing has been ringed in the Faroes. An adult female, ringed 7 November 2004 at Hareid near Ă…lesund in W Norway, was found dead 15 March 2005 near Kvivik, Streymoy, 682 km W of the ringing site.
