Short abstract from the book:Teal is a rare breeding bird in the Faroes, but a common migrant and summer visitor. Teal has not been ringed in the Faroes. A young male (2y) ringed 9 January 1956 in Colchester, England, was found on 27 December 1956 on a ship, about 130 km NE of the Faroes.
