Short abstract from the book:
Redpoll is a common migrant and summer visitor to the Faroes. 17 redpolls have been ringed, 16 on Nólsoy and one in Sumba, Suðuroy. Most (6) were ringed in 1995. Two have been ringed in mid-June and 15 in the autumn, most in late October. A redpoll ringed on 13 March 2006 in Unna-Mühlhausen, 18 km NE of Dortmund in Germany, collided with a window on 9 May 2007 in Tórshavn, 1,453 km NW of the ringing site.
