Short abstract from the book:Peregrine is a rare visitor in the Faroes, with only nine confirmed sightings (2009). No peregrine has been ringed in the Faroes. A peregrine ringed as a chick 12 July 1999 in N Sweden was caught 14 September 1999 on a fishing boat E of Nólsoy, approximately 1,300 km WSW of the ringing site.
