Short abstract from the book:
Great grey shrike is a rare visitor to the Faroes, with only six records. None has been ringed in the Faroes. A bird, ringed as an adult on 4 October 1973 on Wangerooge in Northern Germany, was killed by a cat on 3 May 1975 in Mikladalur, Kalsoy, 1,265 km NW of the ringing site.
