Short abstract from the book:Garden warbler is a scarce autumn visitor to the Faroes. 153 garden warblers have been ringed in the Faroes, mainly on Nólsoy (108) and in Sumba, Suðuroy (44). None of the garden warblers ringed in the Faroes have been recovered. A young bird ringed 10 September 2004 at Revtangen, SW Norway, was killed by a cat 19 days later (29 September) in Viðareiði, Viðoy, 770 km WNW of the ringing site (corresponding to an average minimum speed of 40 km/day).
