Short abstract from the book:
Cormorant has formerly bred in the Faroes. It is now only a rare visitor but can be seen year round. The only recovery is of a chick ringed on 22 June 1982 at BarĂ°astrond, Iceland, and found dead in Vestmanna, Streymoy on 19 February 1983, 879 km ESE of the ringing site. This is the only recovery abroad of a cormorant ringed in Iceland.
