Short abstract from the book:
Cormorant has formerly bred in the Faroes. It is now only a rare visitor but can be seen year round. The only recovery is of a chick ringed on 22 June 1982 at Barðastrond, Iceland, and found dead in Vestmanna, Streymoy on 19 February 1983, 879 km ESE of the ringing site. This is the only recovery abroad of a cormorant ringed in Iceland.
