Short abstract from the book:
Red-throated diver is a rare breeding bird in the Faroes with approximately 25 pairs. Red-throated diver has not been ringed in the Faroes. A chick ringed on 14 July 1999 at Krákuvatn, Iceland was shot on 6 January 2000 on Borðoy, 743 km ESE of the ringing site.
