Short abstract from the book:
Common rosefinch is a rare visitor to the Faroes with only 25 individuals recorded up to 2009. Nine common rosefinches have been ringed in the Faroes, most (7) on Nólsoy. Three were ringed during spring (14 May – 4 June) and six in the autumn (24 August – 21 September). An immature common rosefinch ringed on 18 September 1993 on Fair Isle, Shetland, was recovered 14 days later (2 October) on Nólsoy, 389 km NE of the ringing site.
