Short abstract from the book:
The Faroese wren, ssp. T. t. borealis, is endemic to the Faroes. It is a common resident bird with a population of 600-850 pairs. 379 wrens have been ringed, most on Nólsoy. The first was ringed in 1935 on Svínoy. Most have been ringed in July-October. There have been six recoveries, all in the Faroes. Five recoveries were at the ringing site, and one 8 km NNW of it.
