Short abstract from the book:
Pink-footed goose is a common migratory visitor in the Faroes. One bird has been ringed in the Faroes: a bird taken into care was ringed 12 July 1969. After release, the bird was controlled 5 June 1970 five km from ringing site. The only recovery of pink-footed goose in the Faroes is of a bird ringed on 31 March 2007 in Blackburn, England and since controlled several winters in England and Scotland; it was last seen on 15 November 2009 in Lancashire before it was controlled on 21 March 2010 in Eiði, Eysturoy.
